FAQ

Seller questions, answered.

What property should I send?

Send credible opportunities involving commercial land, development land, industrial property, retail or office buildings, hospitality property, or other sites that may fit a serious buyer. Properties from anywhere in Northern Colorado are welcome, with Larimer County and Weld County as priority areas. There is no promise that a property will fit or be purchased.

How broad is the potential acquisition area?

It is not limited to Windsor, a short list of cities, or only two counties. Eric welcomes potential property introductions throughout Northern Colorado, especially in Larimer County and Weld County. The Water Valley Company decides whether it will evaluate or buy any submitted property.

What information helps most?

Address or parcel location, acreage or building size, current zoning and use, access, utility status, asking price or expectations, ownership contact, and any existing survey, brochure, environmental, lease, or entitlement information.

Does sending it create an agency relationship?

No. Sending property information through Develop Colorado does not create brokerage, agency, confidentiality, purchase, or representation obligations. Formal relationships require separate written agreements with authorized professionals.

Will Eric keep the property confidential?

Do not send trade secrets or highly sensitive documents in the first email. Eric will introduce the opportunity to The Water Valley Company and share it with the appropriate real estate or company contact for evaluation. Ask for a written confidentiality arrangement before sending protected information.
